What is Psychological Assessment?
A Psychological Assessment is a comprehensive process conducted by a clinical psychologist to gain a clear and in-depth understanding of your thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and functioning. It is designed to help clarify specific concerns and, where appropriate, provide a formal diagnosis.
The assessment typically involves a combination of structured interviews, standardized questionnaires, and, where relevant, cognitive or behavioural testing. This process may take place over one or more sessions, depending on the nature of the assessment.
Following the assessment, you will receive a detailed explanation of the findings, along with personalised recommendations to guide your next steps, which may include strategies, intervention, or further support.
How the Assessment Works?

Psychological assessment reports are provided based on individual needs and requests. The scope and pricing of the report may vary depending on the type of assessment required and the purpose of the report.
Details will be discussed and confirmed during the Pre-Consultation session.
Important Note:
This is a structured assessment process, not a single session
Diagnosis is only provided where appropriate
Not all concern require assessments, guidance will be provided in navigating the best support needed by client
Supporting documentation, including letters or formal endorsements, will not be issued based on a single session. Where the psychologist has not had sufficient opportunity to observe and understand the client’s difficulties over time, no clinical or professional conclusions will be made.
